Tarn Taran is a city and a municipal council in Amritsar district in the Indian state of Punjab.Located 25 km south of Amritsar, Tarn Taran is one of the most important pilgrim center in Punjab.

A Gurdwara is built near the tank, in memory of Guru Ram Das. It is on the lines of the Golden Temple at Amristar.
